Office Re-Organisation & General Maintenance

The Background

The Brandon Trust is a charity which provides residential and day care facilities for people with learning disabilities.

The Brandon Trust grows from strength to strength and inline with this growth they are needing to continually adapt to the ever increasing demand on their office support and facilities.

With increasing staff levels the need for more efficient space management has become even more important.

Recently they realised that they needed to reorganise their office function to cater for their current expansion and future needs.

The Solution

Over the last couple of years there has been some significant changes in the way they have provided office support.

Their existing site historically provided both head office and regional functions.

The decision was made to split these two areas into two different sites, the head office remaining in situ and the regional staff moving to a new facility.

With such changes their were several important and timed small projects that needed to be undertaken to help this transition.

We were instructed to generally refurbish the new site and help with the organisational changes at the Head Office.

From desk layouts to revised lighting, new data points to repainting of areas we helped with every aspect.

Having the full compliment of tradesmen inhouse we were fully in control of when our engineers needed to attend without the added complication of subcontracting.  This enabled us to react fast to their requests.

Having engineers who also adopt a flexible attitiude to supporting our customers we were also able to help them undertake smaller tasks, i.e. repositioning notice boards, on an adhoc basis when we were on site undertaking other works.

The Result

The move and split of the two office functions was delivered on time and within budget.

We are still undertaking small amendments to layouts still as Brandon have the confidence that they can easily be combined into their general day to day office maintenance.

We have also grown strong links with their I.T. personnel as we have provided them with a fast and effective service for their data requirements and Server Room Management.
